Coimbatore, India — Rickman Roedavan, lecturer at Telkom University and Head of Metalabs (Multimedia Engineering Technology Research Laboratory), delivered a guest lecture on Augmented Reality (AR) at Coimbatore Institute of Technology (CIT), India.
The lecture explored the evolving role of Augmented Reality in interactive media, education, and immersive digital systems. Students were introduced to the conceptual foundations of AR, including spatial interaction, marker-based and markerless tracking, and the integration of 3D assets within real-world environments.
